Art for Everyone
Creative Spaces Cultural Arts’ mission is to cultivate lifelong creativity and advocate for broad and diverse community engagement in quality arts programming by providing a safe, accessible place for youth, nonprofit organizations, and artists.
How do we do this?
We seek to remove as many barriers as possible for artists and art organizations, so they can make their art as accessible as possible to our local community. This includes:
Making high-quality, affordable, and accessible art spaces available
Curating an arts community of mutual support and collaboration
Offering professional development support to art organizations
Leveraging the resources and creativity of our local community
Ensuring transformational impact for youth arts programming

Art Partners & Recent Renters

Creative Spaces Cultural Arts (CSCA) was born from a 2020 community visioning process led by Disciples Christian Church (DCC) in Cleveland Heights. This effort revealed a critical need: more youth access to high-quality arts education and affordable, accessible space for local arts organizations. In 2021, DCC began transforming its 30,000 sq. ft. building into a flexible, ADA-compliant, and arts-equipped facility. By 2022, CSCA was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Cultural Arts Center is now a collaboration between CSCA and DCC. CSCA oversees arts programming and fundraising, while DCC manages the building and rentals, providing additional financial and volunteer support to CSCA. Please meet our team below…
