Become a Partner
CSCA has four ways in which we invite art organizations to partner with us. To learn more about any of these programs, please contact CSCA.
ACCESSIBLE RentalS
The first way to partner with CSCA is simply as a rental partner. You rent and utilize the Cultural Arts Center space. CSCA partners with DCC to make the space affordable for you, and your rental fees help support the building and administration of the Cultural Arts Center. 20% of all rental fees contribute to CSCA’s programming costs. We agree to publicize your event beforehand, and you agree to allow us to share images of your event afterward. Simple and easy.
Art ACCESSIBILITY & Impact
The second way is a commitment by participating art organizations to seek to make art accessible and impactful to our community. In terms of accessibility, this can include free classes or events, scholarship programs, student ticket prices, etc. In partnership with Disciples Church, we often offer reduced rental fees to organizations, especially youth-based arts organizations, that make art accessible to our community. In support of this work, we ask organizations to participate in providing programming and selling tickets for our annual arts festival. Regarding impact, we have an application we invite organizations to fill out and a community impact form that we ask organizations to submit annually to help track the impact they are making by making art accessible in our community.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
The third way is to help ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging both with art programming and our art center as a whole. This includes organizational mission statements that support DEIB. To do this, we ask partners to contribute to CSCA beyond our annual fundraiser and consider nominating a CSCA board member. We also encourage organizations to consider supporting other art organizations within the Cultural Arts Center through mentoring, collaboration, and/or other support.
Increasing Capacity
The fourth way is a commitment to capacity building of your art organization through support from CSCA (advertising, marketing, fundraising, programming, and/or governance support). CSCA raises funds annually to support staffing dedicated to supporting art organizations that provide art within the Cultural Arts Center. Still, partner organizations are required to contribute to this service in part financially.
