Program & Operations Manager (Part-Time)

Creative Spaces Cultural Arts (CSCA)

Location: Cleveland Heights, Ohio
Contract Term: 2 years

Time Commitment: Part-time (15–20 hrs/wk, flexible hours and work-from-home options)
Future Opportunity: This is a part-time, two-year contract position, with an opportunity to transition into a part-time Executive Director role that includes expanded responsibilities, leadership opportunities, and organizational growth as funding and capacity increase.

About Creative Spaces Cultural Arts

Creative Spaces Cultural Arts (CSCA) is a nonprofit arts center dedicated to cultivating lifelong creativity and advocating for broad, diverse community engagement in high-quality arts programming. Founded in 2020 and incorporated as a nonprofit in 2022, CSCA provides a safe, accessible space for artists, arts organizations, and students.

CSCA is in northeast Cleveland Heights, adjacent to East Cleveland, and operates in partnership with Disciples Christian Church (DCC). As a growing organization, CSCA is entering an exciting new phase focused on sustainability, expanded programming, and deeper community impact.

Position Overview

Creative Spaces Cultural Arts seeks a highly motivated, mission-driven Program & Operations Manager to lead the organization into its next phase of development. This is a unique opportunity for a collaborative, entrepreneurial leader to help shape the vision, programs, partnerships, and long-term sustainability of a community-based arts organization.

The Program & Operations Manager reports directly to the Personnel Committee and works closely with Board members, community partners, and DCC staff to advance CSCA’s mission, strategic priorities, and fundraising goals.

The position will be subject to performance and contract reviews to assess progress, alignment with organizational goals, and opportunities for role expansion. The review, however, will focus on outcomes rather than on the way those outcomes are achieved.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a two-year contract, created to support CSCA’s early growth and infrastructure-building needs. Expanded opportunities may arise in the future, depending on the acquisition of new funds.

The Program & Operations Manager will control the hours worked, the way the job is performed, and the balance between remote and in-person time. Although the candidate is likely to freelance with other clients, there is a desire to transition this role into an employed Executive Director position.
